Program Description

It is a course which features the following:

• The Basic Principles of Money and Its role in the Economy;
• The Designs & Security Features of 3^rd Currency Banknotes;
• Helpful Tips on How to Detect Counterfeit 3^rd Currency Banknotes; and
• Laws and Circulars regarding Treatment & Disposition of Counterfeit Banknotes.

 

Objectives

1. Basic knowledge on principles of Money;
2. Important designs and security features contained in the 3^rd Currency Banknotes;
3. How to Handle Counterfeit 3^rd Currency Banknotes; and
4. Laws and Circulars regarding Treatment and Disposition of Counterfeit Banknotes.

1. Introduction:  What is Money and Its Role in the Development of our Economy?
2. What do we mean by Currency and Foreign Exchange?
3. 3^rd Currency Banknotes Design & Security Features:
   • Chinese Yuan (CNY)  – The New CNY 100 Banknote: Its Design and Security Features
   • Hongkong Dollar (HKD)
   • British Pound (GBP)
4. Learning Checks for Design and Security Features of CNY, HKD and GBP Banknotes
5. Menti Quiz No. 1 – Online Quiz

2nd Session (1.5 hrs.)
