COURSE OUTLINE:
- Essential Prudential Standards/Parameters that are considered in the design of Business Application systems, which interface with the GL and FRP/Regulatory Reporting systems.
- Essential Accounting Standards/Parameters that are considered in the design of automated Accounting entries for Business Application systems, that interface with the GL and FRP/Regulatory Reporting systems.
- Bank Guidelines that delineate the accountabilities for financial reporting, regulatory reporting, regulatory disclosures, and for timely regulatory filings (to Board, BSP, AMLC, SEC, BIR).
- The Supervisory Reviews of the financial models, assumptions and results (i.e., compliance with prudential standards) are being documented. The “effective challenge reviews” by Senior Management and by the Board is evident.
- Common Issues or Prudential/Regulatory Reporting Risk Incidents.
- How does the Bank identify/determine the Prudential Compliance Risk & Regulatory Reporting Risk? To Whom are such Risks being reported? Moreover, how are the said Risks being managed for the Bank’s regular banking unit (RBU), the foreign currency deposit unit (FCDU), or the trust banking unit?
Duration: Equivalent of 1.5 banking days (for the Lectures, the Learning Assessment-Quizzes, Group/Case discussions, Group presentations, Question & Answer interaction).
