Conflict Resolution and Management

Description

Program Overview

Every person faces conflict. There are both positive and negative outcomes of conflict, and what makes conflict positive or negative depends on how it is handled. People in organizations differ in many ways, including personalities, values, views, experiences, interests, aspirations, life circumstances, and more—all of which contribute to diversity. Conflict prevention and conflict management are methods and mechanisms used to avoid, minimize, and handle conflicts between different parties. With this conflict, the organization and its members have struggled with both the challenge of creating a motivating work environment and inspiring and maximizing the work passion and performance of others.

This 8-hour program discusses related concepts, including conflict management and dispute resolution, and conflict prevention. This program teaches participants how to manage emotions during conflict and implement effectively the strategies of conflict management.
