PURPOSE / OBJECTIVES OF THIS COURSE
This learning program was designed
- to facilitate the Participants’ study of the Framework of the Core Business Objectives, Risk Profile, Core Processes, Key Controls & Systems in the Branch Banking Business Model and Operations. These elements comprise the possible Auditable Areas in BBG.
- to assist Participants in gaining some insight into how the Risk-Based Audit Approach would apply to Branch Banking Strategic Line of Business and Distribution Channel.
- to discuss the reference framework and illustrative examples for Branch Banking Audit Engagement Audit Strategy, which aligns with the Board-approved Strategic Objectives of Branch Banking Business.
- to provide participants with Learning Assessment exercises.

TRAINING FORMAT. LEARNING ASSESSMENTS
A. Lecture and discussions, facilitated by experienced Resource Speakers, who may have the following profile.
- Chief Audit Executive (CAE) of a bank; Audit Management with exposure to Branch Banking Audits for banks;
- or Retired /Former Chief Audit Executive (CAE) and/or Retired /Former Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of banks;
- SME-Speakers who have extensive experience in RBG/BBG audits and/or Corporate audits, as well as in banking fraud investigation engagements that pertain to RBG/BBG incidents
B. Learning Assessments, throughout this Course .
- Provide a venue for sharing of learnings and insights, by the Participants with the Resource Speakers/Facilitators, during the face-to-face training sessions.
- Provide a venue for Groupwork, during this Course .
- Provide to Participants a link to BAIPHIL’s Online Assessment/Quiz at the end of the Course 1, that they have to take/answer, as a final documentation of the learning level of Participants.
