Eighty-five years after its founding, the Bankers Institute of the Philippines (BAIPHIL) looks back on a milestone year that strengthened the Institute’s foundation while setting the stage for its next chapter.
Anchored on the theme “BAIPHIL @ 85: Continuing Partnership to R.I.S.E. in Banking,” Fiscal Year 2025–2026 embodied Resilience, Inclusivity, Sustainability, and Engagement, translating these principles into meaningful outcomes for the Institute and the banking profession.
At the center of these achievements was FY 2025–2026 BAIPHIL President Shirley G. Felix, Officer-in-Charge, Office of the Executive Vice President, Receivership and Liquidation Sector, Philippine Deposit Insurance Corporation (PDIC). Supported by the BAIPHIL Board of Trustees, dedicated committees, advisers, partners, and Management Team, President Felix steered the Institute through a year marked by innovation, collaboration, and exceptional performance.
During the year, BAIPHIL expanded its learning portfolio, strengthened industry partnerships, deepened member engagement, broadened its certification programs, and reinforced its commitment to corporate social responsibility. Training participation exceeded expectations, new programs addressed emerging industry needs, strategic alliances expanded BAIPHIL’s reach and influence, and community initiatives created meaningful impact beyond the banking sector.
The BAIPHIL On The Go FY 2025–2026 Year-Ender Special Issue brings these milestones together in the President’s Report, presenting a comprehensive account of the accomplishments, programs, partnerships, and collective efforts that defined the fiscal year.
More than a record of achievements, the President’s Report reflects what can be accomplished when visionary leadership, committed volunteers, and a shared sense of purpose come together in pursuit of excellence.
